The 2025 Vintage will be remembered as a year of recovery and balance.
After several seasons marked by drought and limited yields, our vineyards entered the 2025 growing cycle with renewed vitality thanks to the return of sufficient winter and spring rainfall. These rains restored soil moisture reserves and allowed the vines to enter the season in notably stronger condition than in recent vintages. These reserves then proved decisive throughout the season, allowing the vines to develop naturally healthy canopies, balanced crops and fruit of notable quality.
Spring was mild and stable. Budbreak occurred around mid-March and flowering took place during the second half of April under favourable conditions. Vineyard health remained excellent throughout the season.
Summer was characterised by warm but generally moderate temperatures. Occasional rainfall and the altitude of our vineyards in the Alt Penedès helped preserve freshness in the fruit and ensured a gradual, balanced ripening.
As usual, each parcel was hand-picked according to its own rhythm and level of maturity. Harvest began during the early hours of 13th August and concluded on the 23rd September. Grapes arrived at the winery in excellent health, showing great balance between sugar accumulation and acidity. The native varieties that form the backbone of our Corpinnat wines, particularly Parellada, together with Macabeu and Pinot Noir, displayed notable aromatic precision and freshness.
The resulting wines reflect the character of the season: freshness without austerity, ripeness without excess, and balance that recalls some of the finest recent vintages in the region.
Beyond the quality of the fruit, 2025 also marked a return to more typical production levels. The vineyards responded positively to the improved water availability, producing healthy yields without sacrificing concentration or character.
Across the Penedès, the vintage is already regarded as one of the most successful of recent years, both in quantity and quality.
